It was never going to be an easy task to win one match in Pakistan let alone a series so it came as no surprise when a covid-depleted West Indies side fell to a 3-0 series defeat.

That said, post 2021 World Cup many in the Caribbean had called for fresh/younger faces as we build for the 2022 World Cup and they got their wish.

All eyes were on the returning Romario Shepherd and debuts for Odean Smith, Gudakesh Motie and Dominic Drakes to assess how close they are to be the missing X-factor.
