The art of being a cricket agent
Eathan Brookes (Gravity Sports) joins Machel Hewitt to talk modern day cricket agency
Speak to you average cricket connoisseur and they will oft repeat the claim that “there is an abundance of cricket talent in the Caribbean”.
Undoubtedly there is an element of truth to such claims albeit one would be right to question whether the pace at which said talent develops is fit for purpose in the modern international arena.
With the last of the West Indian G.O.A.T generation slowly winding down the clock heads have turned to the next generation in the Caribbean to identify who are the best up and coming prospects.
In that regard Gravity Sports are one of the sports agencies ahead of the curve vis-a-vis talent identification in the region.
From the likes of Alick Athanze, Kofi James, Nathan Sealey to Keacy Carty - Gravity Sports has some of the most exciting young talent on their books.
Eathan Brooks joined Machel Hewitt to talk talent identification and the art of being an effective cricket agent.
It was a fascinating insight into cricket beyond the boundary and even moreso in the modern day context.
