Where now for the West Indies?

Following West Indies early exit from the T20 World Cup the recriminations and cuss outs have predictably reverberated around the Caribbean.

Sack Phil Simmons, Nicholas Pooran, Ricky Skerrit are the oft-repeated cries as people search for a scapegoat for an issue that has been years in the making.

We at the Caribbean Cricket Podcast have long implored that people look deeper than knee jerk reaction and social media clout.

In the last two months we have had both Jimmy Adams, CWI Director of cricket, and Graeme West, CWI High Performance manager, on the podcast to discuss the future of West Indies cricket.

Ultimately we can either waste time arguing about whose fault the latest failure is or look in depth at how we get the next generation of cricketers to be better. Any conversation outside of that isnt serious.
