Maybe the heroic performance in Bangladesh convinced many things would be different in Sri Lanka this time round, however the West Indies fell to a familiar one-sided defeat.

The lack of a warm-up game to acclimatise to conditions notwithstanding the West Indies top six once again showed their frailty with the bat to leave us with more questions than answers.
