Why subscribe?

The Caribbean Cricket Podcast was set up as a Caribbean diaspora media initiative.

The aim was and remains to ensure diversity in the communication of cricket news from the Caribbean.

The Podcast exists on all major platforms and regularly features influential members of the Caribbean cricket fraternity.

Both myself (Machel St Patrick Hewitt) and co-host (Santokie Nagulendran) are freelance football/cricket journalists featuring in outlets such as The Metro, Stadio, Football Paradise, The Blizzard, Wisden and The Nightwatchman.

Machel also does broadcast work for the BBC and Guerilla Cricket.

This substack will be used in order to move our analysis from 240 character tweets and regular podcasts to written features of the key talking points in the Caribbean
