If Ottley gets a cap I’ll start back playing club cricket cause there ain’t no way.
The biggest problem this team has is that there’s no player in the middle order that’s proven against spin, Powell and Mayers are basically allergic to spin and I wouldn’t really have much faith in Bonner or Hamilton either. Pretty much means most of the responsibilities fall onto Da Silva and Mohammed not sure about that.
On the other hand this will be a good tour to see how the bowling attack holds up they’ve assembled a pretty close to first choice bowling attack with some fringe players.
I think both you guys will be dusting your caps as I don't see an other opening option unless someone like a da Silva is given the role in order to give their better batters ample opportunity to score runs.
The bowling attack will be interesting and I'd like to see a rotation to see who can support Cottrell and Holder, I expect a spin trio of Walsh Jr, Hosein and Mayers to get through some work as well
Yeah, I don't mind that. Especially with Holder as he has high potential. I went for Bonner just as he's been touring with the team so feel he deserves a chance paired with his Super50 performance last year

Luke do you mean Bonner, Mayers doesnt bowl spin? I would think if they call a third spinner it will be Mohammed or Bonner
I mispoke, I meant duo but had Mayers on my mind as I think his type of pace will be important on these wickets
I may well dust down my maroon as well. To be honest I'm looking more at some positive individual performances to take away from the tour
